Lymphatic Drainage of Breast, G1.8 ,Anatomy, Thorax, Breast:

  1. Axillary Lymph nodes:
    1. Anterior: Pectoral - Inferior boarder of Pectoralis Muscle
    2. Posterior: Subscapular - along the Subscapular artery and vein
    3. Humeral - along the distal part of the axillary vein
    4. Central, base of axilla in the axillary fat
  2. Apical Lymph nodes
    1. Along the axillary vein between the clavicle and the Pectoralis minor muscle
  3. Medial
    1. Parasternal Lymph nodes

Arterial Supply of the Breast, G1.7 ,Anatomy, Thorax, Breast

  1. Medially - Medial Mammary branches from the Internal Thoracic Artery
  2. Laterally:
    1. Lateral Thoracic Artery from the Axillary Artery
    2. Lateral Mammary branches of the lateral cutaneous branches of the posterior intercostal arteries

    1. Intercostobrachial nerves (T2 and T3)

The Retromammary Bursa, is a region of loose connective tissue between the pectoral fascia and the deep surface of the breast, and allows the breast to move on the deep fascia.

Suspensory Ligaments of the Breast.
Lactiferous duct and the Lactiferous sinus to the nipple. Interlobular fat.
