Double contrast esophagogram shows dilated esophagus with wide cardia and a sausage-shaped intraluminal mass with smooth surface and large rounded filling defects, During fluoroscopy the mass changed in position, depending on upright or supine position of the patient.
Fibrovascular  polyp
Most common intraluminal type of tumor.
  • may grow to a very large size and contain varying amounts of fibrous, vascular and adipose tissues.
  • different names: angiofibrolipoma, fibroma, myxofibroma, fibrolipoma and pedunculated lipoma.
  • Symptoms: bleeding, airway obstruction, dypsphagia.
